Produced by W. Barker & Son, a pottery manufacturer based in Burslem, Staffordshire, England active between 1850 and 1860.  The company famously showcased this classical, neo-Grecian design at the 1855 Paris Universal Exhibition. The pattern is primarily found in transferware on refined white earthenware and ironstone
